2 year olds are beginning to discover their place in the world and question their environment; how they can communicate effectively to get what they want, behave in a socially acceptable manner, and portray themselves as the individuals they are becoming.

Drama lessons at this age are a great way to advance children on their journey of discovery. Children are encouraged to interact with their peers with confidence, in a peaceful yet fun and exciting manner supported by their ‘special person’.

Classes begin with the building of self confidence and social interaction. Each term will follow a theme in which children explore their use of voice, body, movement, and space through an exciting and engaging range of activities.

DRAMARAMA incorporates music, song, dance, storytelling, acting, costume, and face painting – not only great activities for your child, but a sound introduction to the performing arts. Each week, children experience a familiar environment and routine. This allows the child to grasp and ‘own’ the drama lesson, creating confidence in the activities with which they are presented.

NB: Dramarama classes evolve from one lesson to the next. Please note that when enrolling your child you are agreeing to pay & commit to the full term of lessons, and charges will still apply for missed classes or withdrawing your child before the term is complete. Parents are welcome to bring their children along to the first lesson as a trial, for a one off payment of $12.00.
